For example three Witches from the Beasts faction could summon a huge very powerful spell-casting Demon ( summons) sacrificing themselves in the process, three Priests from the Empire (or whatever it was called) could cast a spell called Litany which gave bonuses to all creatures in its area of effect and drained the Priests' mana while active (so spells which affect a certain area, which in the game were quite many, and spells that have to be maintained), two Void Walkers could create Dimension Portals at their locations which had to be maintained and allowed friendly units to travel between. The system was rather simplistic and there were few spells that could be cast collectively, however it's the first game in which I saw such a feature. To my surprise, the RTS game Armies of Exigo (from the creators of Mark of Chaos and Battle March) had collective spell casting. It is vital to exploit several resource deposits at the same time to be able to produce enough units to win this mission.By which I mean two or more mages being able to cast more powerful spells or spells with increased effect by acting in concert. However, there is no Beast Leader inside, so you can ignore it, if you want. There is also a Beast base to the northwest that cannot be reached by land. There is also the possibility to attack the beasts through the underground and emerge in the middle of their base. It is perfectly possible to fail when charging the base for the first time. This base does not specialize, it produces the whole range of Beast units. The other three Leaders are in the middle of the map, in the ruins of Margoth. Inquisitor Belloq is also of the party, but he is - apart from some martial lines - as useless as in the last mission. The Beasts attack almost perpetually and to top it all, you have to destroy their bases, too. This mission is, like the last one, quite challenging.
